Today, we head to the Central Region, to learn about the profound history of the transatlantic slave trade. We start with a guided visit to a Slave River and uncover the story of the last bath. Next, an insightful and moving guided walk through the doors of Elmina Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest castle in Sub-Saharan Africa.
We then end our Cape Coast visit with a celebration of Ghanaian culture while enjoying a lunch buffet with sea views, before heading back to Accra.
